Description

The Tyrannosaurus rex, whose name means "king of tyrant lizards," is one of the most iconic dinosaur species that ever existed. With its sharp teeth and imposing size, it is the nightmare of any prey. The Tyrannosaurus lived during the Cretaceous period, around 68 to 66 million years ago, in North America.

Standing about 6 meters tall and reaching lengths of up to 12 meters, the Tyrannosaurus was one of the largest carnivorous dinosaurs ever discovered. Its powerful jaw, capable of exerting more than 8,000 pounds of force, allowed it to crush bones and tear through meat with ease. Additionally, its relatively large brain for a dinosaur made it a cunning and successful predator.

Although it lived millions of years ago, the Tyrannosaurus rex still fascinates people today. Its fearsome appearance and position at the top of the food chain make it a popular theme in movies and television shows.
