Abraham Lincoln, the 16th president of the United States, is a figure who continues to inspire generations with his leadership during one of the most turbulent periods in American history: the Civil War. His death shocked the nation, but it also elevated him to the status of a martyr. Today, Lincoln is revered not only as a political leader but as a symbol of perseverance, justice, and humanity.
